Kitchen Table Dog Snack

Pet Nutrition Kitchens needed to develop a logo and brand for their new line of premium pet snacks under the Kitchen Table name. I designed a new, premium looking aesthetic, as well as the website for the new dog snack.

I designed this brand and website while at Magnetize, and it earned a Gold w3 Award in the website category.

Human-grade snack for dogs

The logo was inspired by the mouth and nose of a dog, which is subtly hidden in the "i" of Kitchen. I wanted the logo to feel like someone you love just wrote it down, and dotted the "i" with a heart.

The brand needed to inspire pet parents to hold the food given to their pets to the same high standards as human food. While the animal protein is the first ingredient in each flavor, the inclusions add an intriguing and flavorful twist. My hand-drawn fruit and vegetables, rendered in a pointillism style, conveyed that intrigue. All of this plays against a kraft paper background to add a warm, small-batch feel.

There’s always room.

Every dog owner knows what a dog at meal time looks like: a barely visible nose peeking at the edge of your table, hopeful eyes looking at whatever you’re eating. Because Kitchen Table dog snacks are made with 100% human-grade ingredients, we wanted to visually give the dogs a seat at the table too.

SuperZoo Expo

The new brand was showcased in their expo booth design at their product launch at SuperZoo, North America’s largest pet retail event.

Visit the website

The website conveys a sense of playfulness that naturally comes with selling dog snacks. On the product page, each box has a fun hover state where the fruit illustrations explode from behind the product.
